UIN Jurai Siwo Lampung Set to Energize the Academic Sphere! “Associate Professor Acceleration Program”, Featuring Badrun Tamam, M.Si., Deputy Director of PT Islamic Research Publisher

Metro — UIN Jurai Siwo Lampung is gearing up for a major academic breakthrough. On November 26–27, 2025, the university’s Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) will host the prestigious Associate Professor Acceleration Program, a strategic initiative expected to become a pivotal milestone in strengthening the academic capacity and scholarly productivity of lecturers at the national level.

More than a conventional training session, this program is designed as an “academic acceleration engine” that combines a comprehensive exploration of updated regulations on academic ranks, strategies for enhancing the quality of scholarly publications, and methods for thriving in a rapidly evolving, competitive, and digital academic landscape. Lecturers preparing to advance to the rank of Associate Professor (Lektor Kepala) will receive intensive guidance on crafting strong scientific papers, refining research methodologies, and navigating the complexities of the academic credit evaluation system.

The event’s prestige is further elevated by the participation of Badrun Tamam, M.Si., Deputy Director of PT Islamic Research Publisher, a prominent figure in Indonesia’s scholarly publishing ecosystem. Renowned for assisting researchers in securing publication in reputable national and international journals, Badrun Tamam will deliver in-depth insights into producing high-quality academic articles, meeting global editorial standards, and identifying strategic opportunities in international publishing—issues that continue to challenge academics across the country.

The Head of LPPM UIN Jurai Siwo Metro expressed strong optimism for the upcoming program. “This is more than a mentoring activity. It represents a moment of academic transformation. Our aim is to propel our lecturers forward, enabling them to contribute meaningfully to national and global research movements,” he emphasized.

Participants will also engage in a series of intensive activities, including a scientific writing clinic, live peer-review workshops with expert reviewers, and hands-on coaching in preparing academic rank portfolios, all conducted through practical, interactive, and results-oriented sessions.

With meticulous preparation and a distinguished roster of speakers—including leading figures such as Badrun Tamam, M.Si.—the 2025 Associate Professor Acceleration Program is poised to become one of the flagship initiatives that strengthens UIN Jurai Siwo Lampung’s identity as a progressive, innovative institution committed to developing world-class academics.
